Bickley Pest Control Testimonials

Customer Name: John R. Davis.
I wish to thank two of your staff for the very professional manner in which they dealt with the emergency call-out to my property. Firstly the lady who took my initial telephone call, whose name I believe was Kerry. She listened carefully to my problem and then proceeded to offer a solution giving detailed information on how to solve it. She was polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.
Secondly to the engineer, Tim Friedenheim, who arrived at the agreed time and immediately got on with the job. He to was extremely polite, courteous and fully understood what needed to be done to resolve the problem.
I have been involved with the training of customer service to both domestic and international companies within the United Kingdom and the USA and it always stands out when excellence is achieved in this field.

Example Of Our Pest Services

Carpet Beetles
The Adult varied carpet beetle is 2-4mm long. Its body strongly convexed, with a variable colouration of brown, black and mottled with yellow or white scales on the dorsal surface. The larval, or "Woolly bear" stage, will produce the tell tale carpet damage to areas of carpet where they will not be disturbed, such as under heavy objects or along skirting boards.

These beetles lay their eggs in birds nests, and can find their way into the house via the attic, where they lay eggs in wool, fur and other organic material. These then hatch into larvae that shy away from light, and curl up into a ball when disturbed.

The larvae consume the organic matter, and then metamorphose into adults, who then seek out light and visit flowers for nectar and pollen. The first step of any carpet beetle pest control is to remove any birds nests, dead rodents, and old carpet scraps from the roof spaces, as all three can be reservoirs of infestation.
